Words I Never Said…

Today was the first time I really had the chance to sit down and be asked questions about my wife. Longevity questions, questions on the qualities that she has, and how I feel about her. It felt good to just be able to talk about her and yes, she knew about it and answered similar questions. Even though our pregnancy is still early, we’re taking steps to fortify our relationship and the strong foundation that our marriage is based on. We know that as long as we continue on this path and continue to keep God first, we can provide a wonderful experience for our child. I know for sure we both will agree to that.

Each morning/afternoon/evening she opens her eyes, I’m so grateful…

Peace & Blessings

Oh yeah,

Wednesday is possibly going to be a good day.

Slow Down

Today while driving, I realized that I was doing 55 in a 45. I began to slow down only to feel that I was chugging slowly along. I then thought to myself, ‘Why am I in such a rush? I’m only going to lunch!’ We are often in such a rush to go NO WHERE that we often forget to appreciate the signs that life has to offer.

In summary…

I guess we can call this somewhat a come back.

The Good:

  1. Love -My wife & I had a really great time between the OKC Art Festival last week to just random outings. The food there was AMAZING. We went twice just FOR the food. Such beautiful days, I’m so thankful for them.
  2. Not Some Baby Daddy - I’ve been a little less talkative about the new addition of our family and for good reasoning! I know that in a number of weeks and especially when He or She is born, I will be bombarding you all (Tumblr, facebook, etc) with pictures and stories. We’ve had check ups and everything is going well both with Tamara & the little one. So far, she’s 8 weeks (and a dew days) along. Learning so much about pregnancy and parenthood.
  3. Voice - I joined the choir at Church. I tried Bass at first but I think I’m going to try Tenor next week lol I actually enjoyed it and singing felt really good. I got a few compliments here and there

The Bad:

  1. Wake up - Everyday this morning, waking up for work has been a drag. I would wake up so tired. I was not feeling it folks… Today however, I wake up around 8 and feel so refreshed and have no desire to lay back down. It’s Saturday, go figure.

The Ugly:

  1. Osama Bin Laden - Please, shut up about it already. I’m tired of hearing about it, hearing the horrible jokes… seriously, it’s not funny. I understand what his death MAY bring but it still makes me sick to my stomach to see so many people not just cheer but truly rejoice in someone’s death.

There could be more but that’s all for today. I hope you enjoy reading!

Peace & Blessings

Read the ending if nothing else.

Good afternoon folks,

I was actually going to do this entry by video but one, my room is a mess. We’re moving into our house on Thursday so it looks pretty bad and two, I’m pretty tired and I’m sure my face shows it lol Anyways…

Even though I’m thankful for each day given to me, It’s not that often that I can wake up literally to earthly good news. Some of you may know that I am in pursuit of my degree and I applied to Liberty University (http://www.liberty.edu/) Online to get things started. I actually took a class to get use to online learning which many of you know of but as of today, I am OFFICIALLY enrolled into Liberty University. So yes, I woke up with a smile on my face and it continued as I got ready for church.

Church as always was enlightening and I’m grateful for the word we receive. Even though Tamara & I have been members for about a month now, we were finally introduced as members! We got a good chuckle when her name was announced as TA-FARA! So after that, we begin to leave and as usual we’re shaking so many hands as we make our way to the exit. I happen to run into this one brother who asked if I sing! I dab a little bit here and there but then another guy approaches us and asked us to join the choir. I had plans on doing that last week but due to Tamara being ill from dental work, I did the right husband minded thing to do and stayed home. So it’s just funny that we were asked to do so this week. Tamara isn’t going to do so but I more than likely will so I’m pretty excited about that!

This is the part I’m asking you to read and respond to.

Tamara & I have been working towards a number of things but most importantly, trying to start a family. I would really just like to ask for your prayers and thoughts that OUR prayers do come true sometime soon. I have no real big news yet nor are we jumping the gun because we know that God will provide on his time but… I’m just saying, please keep us in your thoughts and prayers. We truly appreciate it.

Much Love
